The rich, diverse and immeasurable impact of St. Benedict Church is reflective by
the magnificent array of represented cultures, dialects, families and community
served by this reverent center of spirituality.
For 95 years St. Benedict Catholic Church has been a beacon of God's grace,
love manifested faith, light, hope and provisions to all that worship and reside in
the community surrounding 82nd and Bancroft, Oakland, California.
As you scan the images of the clergy, celebrants, auxiliaries, parishioners and
visitors that comprise St. Benedict Church it brings a smile to your heart and
uplift of your spirit and joy to your soul.
The collective voices of our magnificent and melodic choir, the gracious greeting by
our ushers, our beautiful sanctuary adorned and lovingly attended to by members
are reverent segments reflecting what has sustained this beloved church.
We thank you for sharing in our homecoming festivities this month and upcoming
celebration on the occasion of our historic 95th Anniversary of St. Benedict Catholic Church as we also honor the tremendous contributions of the pastors, priests, church leaders, staff, parishioners and others who all comprise the magnificent mosaic of this edifice of faith, love and spirituality.
Thank You,

FEAST OF ALL SAINTS | ALL SOULS
As we celebrate throughout the month of November we remember all those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith and experiencing eternal life in Christ. Please use the All Souls offering envelopes to remember loved ones, and there will be a Book of the Dead near the picture shrine so others may be able to place names in the book.

1ST THING:
For those of you who have St. Benedict GATE remotes,
we need to get them all checked and reprogramed.
Please connect with our Building Manager, Mr. Jules Garibaldi so that your remotes are verified and working properly.
2ND THING:
Everyone's safety is Top Priority when driving onto St. Benedict Grounds.
We HIGHLY recommend that when you're driving into the Parking Lot from 82nd Ave. that you enter the Parking Lot turning RIGHT ONLY! NO LEFT TURNS into or out of the 82nd Ave. Gate.
When exiting the Parking Lot, easiest, safest and highly recommended option is to exit from Atherton St. - Bancroft Ave. Gate exit nearest the school. But if there is a situation where that gate is not available due to the School being in session, when exiting the 82nd Gate, PLEASE turn RIGHT ONLY.
This is for your safety. Numerous folks have suffered from car accidents trying to make a left turn onto 82nd Ave.
Please refer to the Site Map shown below:
LAST THING:
As of August 15 we are at 55% of our $12,200 goal.
We are truly grateful to all who have helped us get this far and to all who continue to show support week after week! We still have until the end of the year to reach our goal. Remember, any collected earnings exceeding our goal returns back to St. Benedict to be used for the needs of our Parish site.
May God bless you abundantly,
Fr. Jayson J. Landeza
