"The animals of God's creation inhabit the skies, the earth, and the sea. They share in the fortunes of human existence and have a part in human life. God, who confers gifts on all living things, has often used the service of animals or made them reminders of the gifts of salvation. Animals were saved from the flood and afterwards made a part of the covenant with Noah." (GENESIS 9:9–10)
All well behaved, socialized animals on leashes or in carriers and their human companions are welcome!!

You Don't Want To Miss Out!!
Voting gives you the power to create positive change for your community and determine a better quality of life for you and your family. Voting together with your
neighbors, family, and friends ensures that your shared values and issues are prioritized, that you play a key role in choosing who represents us, and where government funding and resources will go. The more we vote, the more powerful our voices become, and the likelier the issues that are important to us will be heard.
Our community has, historically, been one of the communities with the lowest voter registration and voter turnout rates. In recent years, this has changed and we are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with at the ballot box. So join the rest of our community and exercise your important right to vote!
Let's do this!!!

🗣️ Community Announcement
We are proud to announce a new collaboration with the American Heart Association to address food insecurity and promote nutrition security within the African American community.
Beginning in September, and continuing throughout the year, we will host informational meetings after parish Masses. These sessions will provide valuable resources for families, including guidance on healthy nutrition and access to local support services.
📅 Please check your parish bulletin for upcoming dates and times.
We look forward to seeing you there and working together to build a healthier, stronger community.
You can find ALL of the latest Newsletters from 2024 & 2025 below:
1ST THING:
For those of you who have St. Benedict GATE remotes,
we need to get them all checked and reprogramed.
Please connect with our Building Manager, Mr. Jules Garibaldi so that your remotes are verified and working properly.
2ND THING:
Everyone's safety is Top Priority when driving onto St. Benedict Grounds.
We HIGHLY recommend that when you're driving into the Parking Lot from 82nd Ave. that you enter the Parking Lot turning RIGHT ONLY! NO LEFT TURNS into or out of the 82nd Ave. Gate.
When exiting the Parking Lot, easiest, safest and highly recommended option is to exit from Atherton St. - Bancroft Ave. Gate exit nearest the school. But if there is a situation where that gate is not available due to the School being in session, when exiting the 82nd Gate, PLEASE turn RIGHT ONLY.
This is for your safety. Numerous folks have suffered from car accidents trying to make a left turn onto 82nd Ave.
Please refer to the Site Map shown below:
LAST THING:
As of July 31 we are at 51.38% of our $12,200 goal.
We are truly grateful to all who have helped us get this far and to all who continue to show support week after week! We still have until the end of the year to reach our goal. Remember, any collected earnings exceeding our goal returns back to St. Benedict to be used for the needs of our Parish site.
May God bless you abundantly,
Fr. Jayson J. Landeza
